Robert was Head of Volunteering with SWASFT for 11 years, has over 20 years clinical experience as a Paramedic, Strategic Commander experience across a range of health emergencies and international incidents. As founder of the national 999 Academy, Rob believes in the power of investing in young people and continues to support Academies in Devon and Somerset. Director of Healthcare at Akumen Ltd.  Rob understands the rural complexities of the south west and the importance of empowering people to support others.
